I realized recently that this blog has passed it's first milestone.

So much has happened in the last year--I have completed (well, almost) three semesters of my four-semester nursing program; David and I traveled across the Pacific ocean for the second time in our lives; friends had babies; and it's been a year since I have been writing to my small internet audience.
